A Versenypálya
A pálya 1929-ben épült, Anthony Noghes, a Club Automobile de Monaco elnökének és alapítójának kezdeményezésére. Az első Grand Prix-t 1929-ben rendezték itt és már 1950-ben, a Forma 1 világbajnokság első évében volt itt futam. 1955 óta szünet nélkül, minden évben rendeznek itt futamokat. A nehéz munkakörülmények ellenére a Monacói pálya a Forma 1 világbajnokságok koronaékszere. A pálya Monte Carlo szűk utcáin keresztül kanyarog, majd a kikötő mellett. A pálya 1929 óta lényegében változatlan, csak 1973-ban építettek hozzá egy új részt a tengerparti uszoda körül, majd később három sikánt is. Mind a pilóta, mind az autó extrém nyomás alatt van, így 1996-ban csak három autó ért célba! De éppen emiatt emlékezetesek az itteni futamok, még akkor is, ha a kilátás az eseményekre meglehetőség korlátozott. Monaco már sok váratlan győzelemmel szolgált - például 1961-ben, amikor Stirling Moss egy Lotus-ban megverte a Ferrari csapatot.A pénteki napon nincs futam Monacóban. A futam napjai csütörtök, szombat és vasárnap!

Children from 6 - 15 years of age accompanied by a paying adult receive a 50% discount for Saturday and Sunday and get free access on Thursday (on Thursday the kids also need a ticket, even free of charge). Children under 5 years of age are misadvised inside grandstands and admission areas due to sound nuisance.
